Two regions, different navigation scale
Steam describes Rügen as 60 × 120 km and Dover as 140 × 140 km, with more than 40 harbors across the advertised world. These are published scenery dimensions, not measured sailing routes. The RC 1717 notes identify a higher-resolution Rügen chart and improvements to map and waypoint controls.

Import or save a route
The manual places external GPX files in the Windows user folder AppData → Local → NauticXP → Saved → ShipRoutes. Open Route management in the Ship Panel to find them. To save a route created in the simulation, choose Add new route and Save; files initially use the current date.

Check draft before following a line
A saved route does not guarantee safe depth for a loaded vessel. Cargo changes draft and trim, and tidal conditions can affect harbor access. Check the planned route against your current vessel and loading state. This site does not supply an unofficial interactive chart or unverified harbor coordinates.
